Art Shakes the Politics
for Extending the Borders of Freedom
The main theme of the 13th Edition of the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean is the Individuation of the Kairos, the moment when the change is possible. The workshop Art Shakes the Politics wants identify the actions which make the changes possible. Starting by the principle that the culture reinforce the civil society mostly in developing countries in the Mediterranean area. The cultural activism creates alternative networks and structures, favorites the individual participation in politics, strengthens democratic institutions and favorites the aggregation.
The Workshop is coordinated by
Daniele Pario Perra & Giancarlo Norese
How can artists cause social and political changes?
Through process created by their imagination and by their visionary ability, through their attitude to the cultural performance, a method maybe not so scientific, but very narrow to the clear madness which provokes the haywire of the human intuition.
